Our Subject Hubs provide high quality subject studies training. Our Hub Leads are experts in leading learning in their subjects in our partner schools combining academic rigour and subject specific pedagogy to support our trainees plan and deliver lessons. Trainees receive 16 full days of subject training across two training phases: September to October and January to February with an additional day in phase 3. Our Hub Leads also support trainee subject knowledge development and visit trainees in schools to provide feedback on their developing practice. The subject hub curriculum is connected to the professional studies Programme of Study so that each week the learning is connected through common themes which are also then put into practice the following week with the school mentor providing a seamless programme of learning.
